This recipe is the best homemade stain remover and will remove almost any stain guaranteed! Let’s get rid of those stains!
I’ve never really worried about stains. I used to go shopping so frequently that I would just toss an article of clothing if it got a stain on it that didn’t come out in the washer alone.
Then I had kids and tried to live more frugally. I had to quit tossing clothes just because of a stain because that gets expensive. But the stains were getting pretty bad. I’ll be honest, I had a bottle of spray & wash in my laundry room cabinet that I would pull out if I or the kids got a stain on a really nice piece of clothing.
I was trying to go natural though and the fragrance just stayed in the fabric after several washes. I didn’t even want to turn the bottle over and read the ingredients on it. Yikes!

Removing Stains with baking soda and dish liquid
This stain had already been ran through the washer and dryer without any luck of removing it.
Mix equal parts baking soda and dish liquid in a small jar or bowl. I start with a tablespoon of each for multiple stains.
Apply your homemade stain remover to the stain with a toothbrush and rub in a little. Throw your garment directly into the washer or allow to sit on stain up to 24 hours.
Stain should be gone after washing a drying according to your fabric. Repeat the whole process if necessary.
